Project Director – Data Center Projects (d/f/m)

Our client is a globally operating company in the real estate and project management environment, supporting the delivery of complex and large-scale developments.
For a strategically important role, we are seeking an experienced Project Director to lead the successful execution of sophisticated data center projects in the Frankfurt region. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-growing market, in close collaboration with international investors, operators, and technology-focused stakeholders.
Your Responsibilities
- Take full responsibility for the delivery of large-scale data center projects across all project phases, from planning and procurement through construction and commissioning
- Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams, including planners, engineers, contractors, and other key stakeholders
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with defined quality standards
- Manage communication, reporting, and stakeholder alignment with investors, operators, and project partners
- Oversee on-site construction activities and coordinate commissioning processes
- Identify project risks at an early stage and implement appropriate mitigation strategies
- Ensure compliance with technical standards, safety regulations, and all relevant legal and regulatory requirements for data center developments
- Regular on-site presence required
Your Profile
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Project Management, or a comparable technical discipline
- Extensive experience in delivering complex construction projects within the data center sector
- Proven track record in managing large-scale data center projects from design through commissioning
- Successful completion of at least two data center projects in a project management role
- Strong experience working with international project teams and stakeholders
- Fluent English language skills are required
- German language skills are considered an advantage
- Willingness and availability to spend significant time on site in Frankfurt am Main
